As per June 2013, there are 37 CATRENE labelled projects (Call 1-2-3 view list , Call 4-5-6 view list ).

Selection criteria
CATRENE projects have been selected according to the following criteria:
- Commitment to CATRENE vision and objectives
- Innovation in basic and industrial research
- Impact (Exploitation, Standardisation, Visibility)
- Impact on societal needs
- Existing European R&D capacity
- Competences of the partners
- Strengths of the consortium ("team effect")
- World market potential
